Float House in Tel Aviv, Israel is an interesting residential project focused on a seamless indoor-outdoor transition. Envisioned by Pitsou Kedem Architect, the 5,920 square-foot (550 sqm) property was perfectly adapted to living needs of a modern family: “The architectural concept was to create a structure with a continuous, wide space, divided by internal courtyards and movable partitions into smaller spaces used for a variety of different functions”, explained the project developers. A swimming pool studded with large basalt rocks and trees that seem to float on water greet visitors upon arrival. By using large windows instead of walls, the designers managed to deliver spacious and fresh interiors, flooded in natural light. Elegant finishes throughout and minimalist arrangements create modern spaces for living and contemplation. Exuding comfort and serenity, the en-suite bedrooms are particularly appealing.
